Not really sure why I'm posting this on here, but everyone seems to spill their guts on here so I might as well do that too.

Came down to stay with my parents over Xmas. I arrived yesterday having sat on the M25 for 2 hours following a "Police incident" where somebody jumped off a bridge near Leatherhead. When I arrived Mum was fretting that she'd not seen or spoken to my sister for a couple of days, and her key worker was also apparently getting worried.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, a couple of family members broke into her house last night and found her dead in her bedroom with a half finished shopping list. She'd suffered from mental health issues for more than a decade, and has been into some seriously nasty scrapes, but it looks like it was a heart attack or stroke that actually did her in. She was 33 and left 3 kids behind her. I wound up having to break the news to my Mum.

Merry fking Christmas.

its an expression and not reference to her as a man..... knew someone/you would pull me up on that...

Not the news you want at this time of the year.

My grandma died on Christmas day 7 years ago. It does kinda take the edge off the whole affair.

Keep your head up and be strong for your parents.
