Christmas TV abroad!

So what's on for chrimbo in the UK?

The TV here consists of a CSI marathon, Care Bears, Home Alone etc.

When in the UK i moan about the same old crap on the telly over Christmas yet what do i find myself doing when away??

Well ... i started the day with "The Italian Job", i am just moving on to "Ice Cold in Alex" and have a few old 007's lined up for later this evening.

Having realised that i do not own a copy of "The Great Escape" i have just started a download!!



So, what you all watching? (home of abroad)

Just finished watching the original "Italian Job" and a couple of Clarkson DVDs. Tonight a little "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" should do the trick

i felt the need for at least one bad bond, (it is tradition after all) so have Moonraker on, its actually not so bad until they get a bit carried away in space ....

Here in Japan I would not dream of turning on my TV on Christmas day, or any other day.

The last time I turned my TV on, was for Wimbledon.

TV in Japan is total crap, it makes ITV look classy, it caters for the absolute lowest of the low - game shows, Benny Hill style comedy, dramas for housewives and documentaries that consist of creepy music and interviews with old women claiming their house is haunted.

Fortunately, I have a fast internet connection and a huge backlog of downloaded programs/movies I can watch.
