If she's not a total bh then she ought not mind her/you exchanging them for some others. The thought and all that...

Not a total bh but I feel like a twunt. I am thinking couple of nights in a spa hotel before new year as a quick fix.

Why? Because you made a mistake? Can't she wait until the shops are open tomorrow to change it?

Pussywhipped doesn't even come close really with you, does it?

Well good excuse to go away for a few days, so if you want to then go, but don't if you don't and are being a push over. Have fun. smile

2 things:
1. If she can't just wait to change it for one she really likes, then she doesn't deserve anything.
2. Do you really expect a car-internet-forum to be able to give you better ideas for fixing this than your own knowledge of your OH?

Where's Rich1231 when you need him?

This, rabw, is another reason for not getting married.

My wife pulled a face when I bought her an Xbox360 game, she was very nice about it and said it was lovely but she doesn't have an xbox to play it in.
Her face lit up when she opened her next pressy of an Xbox arcade machine.

To the OP, a Spa hotel sounds good, there are quite a few near the track to watch some good racing or do a track day.

Grow a set. Look under your pinny and see if Santa left you a pair.

Cock? You sound like you barely have one.

I am certain Rich1231 would not even open this thread, just thought PH may come up with some better suggestions. Oh and lets face it booking a nice hotel is an excuse for decent food, wine and dirty hotel sex so to me that seems the most fun option biggrin

Chris why are you apologising? You bought her a nice present, she doesn't like it so will end up changing it. Christmas is about spending time together not money. If she needs pacifying because it was the wrong necklace and can't wait a few days to change it (to be honest I'd be pretty offended if she wanted to change it anyway) then I would suggest the problem doesn't lie with you but her.

Speaking as a female, who has experience of these things, its a very sad and lonely feeling when your man gets you something hideous. He should set off out NOW and only come back when he has the right present, the lovely, what I really wanted, gift, and pretend the hideous one was a wind up.

yep, neck the bottle of cooking brandy and have a massive argument about it over lunch in front of the entire family, just to make sure you get your point across

Ungratefull cow. Its the thought that counts. make her feel like the ungratefull wench that she is and she can repay your generosity later with jaw ache.

What did she actually say about the present? Or are you just upset that you got it a bit wrong and making a mountain out of a molehill?

If it is the latter just say that you will both go back to the shop and swap them and chill. Why do you need to make up for anything, you bought her a nice pressie, I really don't get it.
