Drinking?

We've got the "Not Drinking" thread, so I thought I would even out the balance by creating a thread for us pissheads!

Right, who here is going to be hammered by the end of the day?

This is my third day on the drink in a row! Well it is xmas!

Personally, I think drink is great! I am not an alcoholic, but it has given me some great times, and I have met some great people who I would never have met had it not been for the "demon drink".

I appreciate its not exactly good for your health, but like smokers, I know the risks, and I accept that it may make me die younger! But frankly, I'd rather not live till I'm a senile 100 year old with no bladder control thanks!

Drinking is fun, admit it!

Oh yes, heading to the beach in a bit (Sort of an expat tradition) with a picnic and copious amounts of bubbly. Then back home and start cooking dinner !

Not yet as i'm at work. But I have 3 bottles of rather lovely Champagne and a bottle of Zubrowka with me to take to Gretchen's after work.

I fully intend for it all to consumed, along with whatever else Gretch may have to imbibe, by the time i retire tomorrow morning...

About to open my second tin of Tyskie - didn't start too early cos I was a little fragile after over indulging last night and had lots of toys to construct for the binlids.

Dinner is almost ready and it smells amazing! Lamb for us this year, turkey is overrated.

Just cooked dinner for the missus and the inlaws, off to hospital in a minute to visit the little'un, then yes, I'll be getting stinking drunk

Tradition and all that - coupled with the fact that I haven't really had more than a pint in any one sitting for the last month or so..

Was pissed last night, and so far today have had a pint in the pub, a glass of champers and am on another beer now back at my Mum`s. More beer and red wine to come me thinks!

I have had a couple of glasses of good red, to go with a thick rare fillet steak, with a slice of Stilton on the top, asparagus, and roast potatoes with garlic & rosemary (sod turkey, too much trouble for just the three of us). I am now moving onto the Talisker, but won't have too much as some PH'ers are coming over soon to take me to the pub.
