The Gypsies are back in London!!!

They used AFAIK only come to London in the Summer.
From what I have seen they come to London every year, bother people at traffic lights, intimidate and harass people into giving money.
Then on the tube and high streets they do same thing but this time with their childen strapped on them.
All I want to do is to travel in peace it is our right, I really don't like the fact that they scare elderly ladies or even females travelling by themselves.
Saw some of them at the traffic lights in Ealing Common today cleaning windows and begging, the Police car behind me turned a blind eye.
I was once speaking to a security guard at Harrods who was telling me that they make loads of money, and cause most of the trouble around the streets around the store but apparently the Police aren't interested.
Why are they not dealt with at the ports and airports if they are continually doing the same thing, why they do pass so many countries to come to the UK?

Your complaining about that? I can count 10 caravans from my window that have managed to squeeze into the smallest bit of undeveloped land in the area. I've complained to the Council, but they are not interested as 'they are doing no harm'. I told the nice lady on the phone that I'd be cancelling my council tax payments then as I 'do no harm' and I can use the rubbish facilities the council have given the pikeys for free. At least they have kept their thieving to a minimum.
Gassing is too good for them, a flaming transit full of gas bottles and nails would do it though.

Wow, just when I was feeling slightly into the Christmas spirit, you can always count on PH to crush the idea of charity, forgiveness or any of that other left wing idealistic dribble.
Sorry all, but sometimes, just sometimes, I think that some members on here are not quite as thankful for what they have as they should be.

These are organised gangs who make quite a bit of money, pay no tax of NI and on top of all that, scrounge of the local authorities pleading poverty (which is a situation they are not in).Callughan said:

I spoke to the security guard in Harrods in Summer, why do you assume they are poor, they have come from abroad, they are certainly collecting lots of money and I have seen them collected in the evening by executive level cars. This is a very organised operation from what I can see.
I am very gratefull for what I have and am very much for giving to charity and helping the needy and I do! What I object too is being forced or pressured to give money when I am minding my own business and the aggressive manner they do it in, when I think my sister, girlfriend, mother in that scenerio my head boils.

Bit O/T, but I face the inevitable joy of break-ins at work over the Christmas break by Gypsies. Two incidents over the past couple of months already, just to nick copper wire and tools from our construction tenants. But I can't call them pikies because that would mean I'm racist eh...

Am rather lefty but Pikeys..no, horrible horrible people, and this is a lifestyle choice. I would gladly go sit with a homeless tramp and share my sherry in the spirit of Christmas, but when I was met regularly of gangs of ten plus lads on my way home (am 5ft 2 lass) I eventually moved house!
