What should you NOT eat to avoid cancer?
Discussion
In recent years I've seen reports of the carcinogenic effect of Acrylamide found in over-cooked starchy foods such as crisps, chips and even the crust of bread.
And then there's recent reports that Sodium Nitrite commonly used as a preservative in processed meats can cause bowel cancer.
I do believe in "everything in moderation" and don't rigidly avoid the above though I have, sadly, cut down on my bacon intake.
Does anybody have any comments on the above and can you share any further information on the carcinogenic chemicals we consume in the western world?
Not a cheery subject I know - but an important one perhaps.

What shall we scare the public with this week.
This is what I think when I read about the latest cancer causing food.
Take half a pound of anything and wedge it up the rear of a laboratory mouse - it'll die of cancer. This is what I think when I read about the latest cancer causing food.
