Ipod and syncing on more than one computer?
Discussion
Got my mum an ipod for christmas and to try and save a little time when importing cd's on to itunes, i have downloaded itunes on to her pc and my laptop. So i can be doing 2 cd's a once. However, when i go to sync the library with the ipod on my laptop, it wont let me do it without deleting songs that have been put on from the other pc as it says ipod's can only be sync'd with one computer at a time. Is there anyway around this?
Another problem. When i transfer the songs from my laptop via usb stick to pc, itunes cant find the music once i have removed the usb stick and i have to locate each track one by one for it to be able to recognise them. Dont understand why as they are in the same location as the rest, (my music, itunes, itunes music, album name)
???

Are you copying the tracks into the iTunes folder manually, or dragging and dropping onto the iTunes window????
If the former, then iTunes won't know about it. If the latter, check your preferences to ensure that when you're adding songs to your iTunes library that it's also copying them to your iTunes folder.
