Any Thunderbirds boffins awake?

I saw Gerry Anderson on BBC news this morning, he was having a big dig at ITV for "not supporting him properly" or something.
Does anyone know what it was all about?
Perhaps it was because Lew Grade didn't commission any more Thunderbirds series which was the nail in the coffin.Does anyone know what it was all about?
I've read Anderson's autobiography and it does seem that he was very naieve back in the 1960s and not very good at arguing his own corner. He essentially gave in to whatever Grade said - being under the impression that Grade knew best. It was only afterwords that he could look back and realise that Grade hadn't always made the right decisions.
What really killed Anderson's original set up was the extremely acrimonious divorce from Sylvia. It was extremely bitter and I am pretty sure that he had what would be described as a complete breakdown after the divorce was finalised.
He never really returned to the heights of his Supermarionation days. The only series I can recall him being involved in after 1980 being the awful "Terrahawks" and the passable "Space Precinct".
