Or tracjking I think is more accurate. Anybody used it?

The software tells you when an email has been opened but does it unobtrusively like www.msgtag.com

I also recall that there was something similar which told you if it had been forwarded/printed?

There is one which prevents printing and forwarding, and which self destructs after a set period www.readnotify.com but that is held on their servers, require extensions and to the email addrress.

It's not going to work with me, and if I found out that you were trying to do it I'd be annoyed with you. I may choose to send you a Read Receipt if you request one, but trying to get more than that is being cheeky.

Agreed tricks like that would result in you going on to my block and bounce list.

I know there is no harm in it, but there is also no real need for it outside of a business where you want to make sure internal secrets aren't being passed around and printed off. However such things should not be emailed anyway.

Your complicating a situation that doesn't need complicating.

www.didtheyreadit.com was used as a company wide application at one of my first employers..reasonably interesting for week 1 and then a pain in the arse thereafter as the app sends you email notification(s) after every outbound message.
