Most checkout monkeys I can think of wouldn't accept an MSA licence as proof of ID.

I prefer to show them my stump and then let them count the rings - hasn't failed yet.

When the police turn up, they do an ID check and that proves I'm old enough.

The one time I was stopped for, ahem, driving with enthusiasm, was the one time I didn't have my fixed and fling wing licenses with me.

It's my ambition, when being asked by plod if I have a license to be low flying/pilots license (both a favourite refrain around these parts of them apparently) to whip them out and state 'yes officer, I have both, which would you like to see?'

Promptly followed by a trip to the station and a fall down the stairs no doubt, but hey.

Childish, yes, but its the little things, isn't it?

I just smack them in the face with my Ferrari Owner's Club and Amex Centurion cards.

And my Driver's license showing an address on Star Island in Miami.

Beat that buddy.
