I am of course talking about the background actors that make a film or program so much better or inject much needed humour.

Examples that spring to mind are:

Jevon & Micky Pearce in Only Fools & Horses

Dave Hedgehog and Spudgun in Bottom

Q in earlier Bond films

Danny the drug dealer in Withnail and I

Den Perry in Phoenix Nights, also Kenny Senior (Archie Kelly) as the hilarious fabricator

Who else???

That sidekick in "Man From U.N.C.L.E.". I still see him in certain new T.V. Series today. McCallum or something was it? (People are going to read this and say: "Something from the last 35 years please.") biggrin
