Kitchen Utensils - Let the excitement begin.

I'd like to buy some stainless steel cooking utensils. I want them to last forever and I want them to have hooks in the handles as out cooker has a utensil hanging bar.

Exciting yes, but please calm yourself and let me know if you have any suggestions!

I have a set of stainless steel utensils that my (ex) wife bought from a catalogue about 8 or 9 years ago and there is no evidence to suggest they won't last another three or four times that. I'm fked if I can remember who they are made by though.

Lakeland used to do some good teflon coated jobbies which won't scratch your nice pans.

They were s/steel with different coloured teflon at the business end. Might be worth having a look in one of their shops?

Spot on, I'm looking for the same myself and Roesle fit the bill, they have the full range in Harrods if you want to check them out in the flesh. They feel like a quality item and they do rails if you need them too.

I think the best deal I found on Roesle was the salamander cookstore which did 10% off when you purchase 3 items or more, haven't ordered from them before so can't vouch for them personally.

My nearest supplier is Thomas William in Manchester. They have a decent selection in and will happily order in anything that's not there, the Rosle range is huge so it'd be hard to stock the entire range. The staff are really helpful too. If you're not near the land of the Manc their website appears quite good, although I've never used it.
