Sky still the best bet for tv, telly, and phone?

I need to arrange phone, tv and www in my new flat in Central London. I have been using Sky HD for TV, Be internet and their 24mb service, and BT for phone, but now need to economise as best I can. Having done a few minutes research would I be correct in thinking that getting all three via Sky would be my best bet?

I will downgrade from Sky HD and tailor the viewing package to only what I watch (if possible).

Phone service would initially allow me to call landlines for free at all times whilst I job hunt! I have no experience of their telephone service! Would I need to arrange a BT line, or can Sky provide it rather than piggy-backing onto BT's network?

Sky Broadband apparently whilst having a fup does not throttle traffic?

I can do the calculations easy enough but hoping someone has done it all already and would suggest that this would be the better value option for my situation.

Sky TV, basic package at £17. All channels bar sports and movies; £22 (?)

Sky phone: Free calls, for upto an hour. However, you can hang up and re-dial. They piggyback of BT, as you require a bt landline. You can rent from them too.

Sky BB: Goes up by £5 this march.

Recently signed upto the unlimited full-on-access. Router received today (FoC,) getting connected on monday. Couldn't find anything about FUP though. Guy on the phone insisted they do not have one. time will tell.

They're cheaper than BT's take on See, Speak and Surf by about £8pcm (for my usage.)

I got a letter the other day saying this increase would be waived if I signed up for their phone package. As I wasn't paying BT any money, only call after 6 or on weekends, I signed. Told them I didn't like the bully boy tactics!

Is it a cable area and if so, see what deal Virgin will do for you..?

I believe so?! Will see if they can stick it on the roof so its less visible! I asked the landlady who asked another resident.
