I have a pay pal account and wish to buy something from ebay. The thing is i have just a couple of pounds currently in my account. [My account is linked to my bank account].

Do i have to transfer money from my bank account and wait for it to reach my pay pal account? Or, can i go ahead and buy the item and pay pal then draw the money from my account? If this can be done would there be an extra charge for buying something and not having sufficient funds already in place. (i have enough in my bank account)

Hope someone can answer this for me smile

It should automatically draw any needed funds from the account connected to your paypal account.

Just buy the item & paypal will take what you have in your PP account and make the difference up from your bank account.

I Should have added - there is no extra charge for drawing funds from your bank or Credit card account to your paypal account to pay for an item. The only time you need to instruct your bank or CC account to pay into your paypal account is if you are subject to a 'charge back', but that's a totally different transaction altogether.
