It seems that Alpine has brought out some new stuff with bluetooth built in. I'm looking for a new CD player that has a USB socket, bluetooth, and decent sound quality:

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine-cde103bt-p-...

That seems to tick all the boxes.

However, Alpine don't list it on their UK website confused

http://www.alpine-electronics.co.uk/home/products/...

Moreover, looking at Amazon, there seem to be quite a few in this new range:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/alpine-bluetooth/s/qid=123...

(If you scroll down you can see all the CDE-10x models) There's a CDE-104BTi as well, but I can't work out what the difference is between it and the CDE-103BT that I've been looking at.

Anybody help me out on this? I've asked on talkaudio but nobody seems to have one yet, and no reviews on the net...

Have a look at www.bassjunkies.com i've used them a few times. They are based around the midlands but will deliver for online orders.

With your choice of headunit i think alpine are among the best but there are others that can offer everything. I replaced my head unit so i had ipod control and bluetooth. I went for a pioneer http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/products/25/121/61/FH-... There are similar models that are single DIN if thats what you need and they seem to be at a reasonable price. The quality of my unit for calls seems to be pretty much perfect and the ipod controls are simple and soudns great.

I got one of these..

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-MEX-BT2500-car-head-B...

Bluetooth gives hands free and MP3 playback from my phone, with built in mic so you just pop it in and go.
AUX-In works with I-Pod/Zen etc.

Cheap as chips and works a treat.

Edited to add: the newer 2600 will also directly control your IPod via a docking thingy, and costs around a 100 quid. It all depends on whether your MP3 player has bluetooth or not.
