Bought a TV allegedly with...

... a Freeview digital tuner built in, we can't find anything in the manual that says Freeview. We can only currently get the terrestrial channels too. All the reviews are great etc so went with it.
Its a Sharp Aquos LC19D1E-BK
Anyone else have one of these that can shed some light on it?

I might be wrong but plug in your co-axial lead in the back of the telly and connect that to your aerial socket then find the menu, via the remote, then there should be a set-up or initial set-up. Highlight and press select or enter and the TV's Freeview tuner should find all the channels.
It should be there but I am surprised that it is not in the manual.
I never like reading manuals anyway.

I shall try this promptly, thanks. The misses says we should take it back !!!!

press the D/TV button, go to menu, installation. start downloading all channels and hey presto.
You can switch between DTV and TV by pressing the remote button I mentioned earlier.
