Photoshop Monitor for <£200

Mods- Please could you leave it here a little while before moving to 'Computers' as this is a bit more generic than a Technical reason

I am after a Flat Monitor for under £200.

I will ONLY use it for Photoshop and other Graphics work... oh and Porn

No Gaming,
No DVDs etc

So the Quality has to be Good but the response time etc can be less urgent.

Looking for about 19-22" and Res of about 1200x1200 ish.

Currently, everything fairly good seems way out of budget or not good for Digital Art/ Graphics.

The best I can find is this...

T200 Rose

Anyone have a good Screen or Recomendation?

To be honest, I imagine you'll get a better response for this in the computers section, they're more technical over there ......Maybe worth posting (perhaps a duplicate) there??

It's difficult to know whether to Post Generic or Specific.

It seems whichever way I do it it's wrong

Viewsonic are a good budget no-frills make, and at £169 it's excellent value for money. Do not expect a lot better for the price, but a budget of another £100 gets you a quality monitor like a Dell 24" etc.

Dell 24 can be had for 235 from certain places.

Whatever you get, make sure it's an 8-bit panel (sold as 16.7 million colours); avoid anything sold as "16.2 million colours" which will be a6-bit screen.

Samsung Syncmasters tend to be pretty highly rated for photographic work.

I have a couple of HP's. A 20inch and a 22inch and do the odd bit of Photoshop etc. I think the most important thing with colour is having the screen correctly calibrated, but this can be expensive. As said, the best information will be from the photography thread.
