They've been advertising Demons for ages, in every facet of media, even on sodding Facebook.

And so i turn ITV on at 7:20 to find? Cocking football.

The person who decided their new saturday night flagship show's first episode should go out after some pigskin-kicking should be fired out of cannon into the sun.

Yeah yeah, its only 5 minutes, but seriously, can they not build in some sort of buffer?

Rant over, as the overpaid nancyboys have finished falling over and are off for their group showers now so the programme might actually start.

I keep expecting Philip Glenister to go and "knock over a nonce", strange accent as well!

Watchable brain dead hokum at least.

I agree about the scheduling, it is very poor on most channels these days. At one time, if something was scheduled for 8pm, it would start at cock on 8pm, but now anything up to five or ten minutes late appears to be acceptable.

BBC2 followed by ITV are the worst offenders.

I missed this. Is it worth catching up on or should it just be consigned to the usual sewer that is Saturday evening television?

Missus set a reminder to watch this. I sat down with her to watch it and lasted five minutes.

I quite enjoyed it as did my kids, nothing too nasty family friendly viewing.

I also managed to catch the pre-Celeb BB prog that was on on thursday, my god Makenzie Crook's character in Demons is a dead ringer for Jodie Marsh hehe

Easy going TV but Phil Glenister's accent is most strange! Mina Harker reminded me a bit of Bolly Knickers too.

Me too. I just couldn't see why they cast him as a yank; northern hardman is so much more his forte. You could hear in some bits he sounded like Gene Hunt rather than an American, I just wish they had let him do what he does best. I would have liked to see him grab the long black haired guy by the scruff of his neck and kick him in the balls.

I thought that as well. Who played her? I ask because the program overrun and Sky+ is st and didn't record the last few minutes

They'd get more viewers and spend less money if they just bought and showed Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Demons, utter rubbish that makes the writing on Primeval look like Booker Prize material. And Cuprinol would be impressed by the wooden acting.

Yet another attempt from ITVs shoddy imagination department.

Strictly Come Dancing doing well? We give you Dancing on Ice!

Doctor Who doing well? We give you Primeval!

BBC I-Player doing well? We give you the ITV-Player!

Merlin doing well? We give you Demons.

Utter utter rubbish and now the F1 has gone back to the BBC I might as well tune ITV out in my house, totally pointless channel.

Yep, only one programme from ITV made it into the top 10 viewing figured over Christmas, think it was Coronation Street, everything else was on the BBC.

Their attempts are always terrible as well, Primeval was shockingly bad!

But...but...
This is Pistonheads, therefore the BBC is a shocking communist mind control organisation and ITV must be better.
That is all.
