Kids and wobbly teeth

My son (who is 7) is worried that one of his 'grown-up) teeth is a bit wobbly. It looks a bit wobbly to be honest!

Is it normal for newish adult teeth to have a bit of play in them?

I don't know I can't honestly remember, has he knocked it or anything?? Perhaps you could give the dentist a quick ring in the morning to be sure.

Are there teeth next to the wobbly one? Or is it just there on its lonesome.

Get him to watch 'Darkness Falls' or 'The Dentist' and I will bet the problem goes away sharpish!

Are you certain it's a second tooth? It can be confusing at times to tell the difference

If he's only just got the tooth, it won't have an awful lot of root on it yet and may feel a bit loose, especially if he's given it a bump recently. Try and encourage him to leave it alone if he can, it should be fine.
If you're worried about it, then obviously call your dentist in the morning.

To be honest, I'm not sure! He tells me it is but with two young children it's hard to keep track of the tooth fairy's schedule.

He's not had a bump of any sort - I've asked/told him to stop wobbling it!

If he mentions it again tomorrow, I might give our dentist a call.
