What to do in a cold Stockholm?
Discussion
Foolishly or not, I am off to Stockholm Friday. Highs of -6 deg C during the day and -8 deg C at night. Great!
Never been to the place but looking forward to it.
Is there anyone that has been that could recommend the following:
a) good cheap (compared to the rest) bars and clubs in the centre.
b) things to do not drink related in the daytime.
We are staying in the Yacht hotel in the centre so would be good if things are close to that.
Cheers chaps.

I went there 2 years ago around this time (just before moving onto the ice hotel), the Nordic hotel where we stayed just by the rail station had the only 'ice bar' in Stockholm so maybe worth a vist?
The best thing though is the 'Varsa' ship, well worth a vist, an amazing boat launched in 1600 and sunk as it left port! kept underwater in brackish water means its completely conserved in its original form with all carvings etc, an amazing thing to see and a must do.
Apart form that, just shop really, not alot else.
