Printing Your own Book - Best place for Prices

Hi Guys,

We are finishing a book which has a distribution deal in place but the costs of printing seem to be rather high here on the south coast.

Has anyone printed their own book and if so can you recommend a place in the UK or Abroad please ?

My daughter produces and publishes her own comic books and gets them printed by lulu. They are not cheap and have recently responded to falling demand for printing by putting their prices up, which seems like an odd business model to me.
