The wife and i where having a conversation a few days ago, she now refuses to go on the pill because it messes with her?
Anyway, she suggested the snip. Now i'm pretty sure i dont want anymore kids, infact at the moment i couldn't be more sure.
I'm 23, well 24 in March and i was thinking that the doc may refuse to do it? Plus im not sure if im keen on having someone snipping things in my nut satchel, if they sit wrong it f
king hurts let alone having someone cutting bits
Any advice, thoughts?

Personally I would say 23's a bit too young to be thinking about it, I wouldn't like to do it at that age!
I know it can be reversed, but IMO you're only 23 and things can happen between people...you may split up etc, meet someone else who you want to have kids with...bit too big a decision for me to be making, and i'm 22!

Mrs BR and I had a conversation shortly after the birth of our second.
I was for having it done, but while we didn't want her to go on the pill as it messes with her too, we agreed that it was just too terminal to consider at this stage of life, (I was 38 at the time.)
Upshot is that I didn't but have to be very careful as although Mrs RB wants more children, I'm certain I don't.

Why not try Cornish Contraception.
Do her up the wrong-un ?I know a couple who actually used it as a method of contraception as he didn't like condoms and didn't want the snip, or thats what he told the missus

No way! I couldn’t have someone do that to me... especially at 23/24! Can’t see have an injection? Or one of those new type of contraceptive things which go in her arm? I’d have thought women would like the pill even if they weren’t using it as a contraceptive because of not having the inconvenience of a period and the pains that brings them.
Has your missus talked to a doc about different types of pill?
Also has she tried the marainer (sp) coil? It has a hormone in it that suppresses menstruation so is doubly effective. Or just a normal coil?
The snip is a pretty serious step for some one so young.
You having the snip won't stop your missus getting pregnant whilst you're off playing soldiers.

If you have kids already and the relationship is stable then go for it I guess.
which is what i was thinking, but somethings dont last for ever, so it might not be a great idea.Infact thinking about it its impossible to answer.
FFS....
Oh and she's not into having her back doors smashed in either so i guess that rules that one out
