I have tried deliberately not to look at the value of my pensions and investments over the past 6 months but today I did check. I have them on a FT portfolio which tracks their value.

Looks like I am, overall, 16.3% down on the investmnets on this time last year but that would have been 23% save for one which is just still in the black.

My bit of pension is down 25.6%.

How have you done ( % please, this is not a 'I am considerably richer than you' thread)?

Let's hope 2009 is better eh?

My PEP is 50% down, back to what it was in 1995. Hate to think what has happened to my Pension and Endowment. Oh! and my shares are 50% down from the Summer.

I don't have any pensions or investments other than cars and property so wouldn't know how good/bad I've "done". frown

Smart move. Wish I thought of it back then.

Well - given the falls it might have been better to have all those pension payments in a savings account and now tfr the lot into the pension + interest.

I can't name names or be specific as to what it is for reasons that might become legal, but 18 months ago I ordered something on 4 wheels that has to be paid for on delivery in Euros. It is due very soon, but as a result of the collapse of the £, it has increased in price by £52,000 yikes Currently trying to wangle my way out of it as a result.

Of course, but then you'd take it out and blow it on a Ferrari, you know you would. biggrin
