LG Renoir - help with txt messages! pls

Hello all
I got a Renoir for Christmas and today my new sim card started working but I cannot send any txt messages. Im on o2. Can anyone help? I have tried looking at all the phone settings etc. Anyone? Thanks S

what do you mean by can't send? you write them and they wont send?
Is it a new contract, or an existing/copy of existing sim card?

Call them and ask them to send you the settings.

if it's the settings you need, normally need them for mms etc try this link

don't normally have to for text messages i don't think, media messages you do sometimes.

Can you write the texts properly and the phone wont send them?

Yes, I press send and it says 'sending' then that changes to 'waiting' and then it says 'failed'!
