Plasma on the wall

I need some suggestions. I have a 42" Philips plasma TV and want to fit on wall using bracket. Problem is that the 'wall' is plasterboard fitted to block walling using plaster dabs. What's the most secure way to mount the bracket?
Hire a dozen ex-Estate Agents to hold it in place for you, working on a shift basis, two at a time. Far cheaper than the alternatives.eharding said:

Though this is the second time this has come up in as many days and there is a new fixing specifically for dot and dab and I cant remember the name of it and its doing my head in.
The alternative is to cut the board out, mount MDF to the block with shield anchors and fix the bracket to that.

They're currently holding my shower and loo roll holder up! Only 'cause I can "acquire" them from work mind.Just be sure to get the metal ones and not plastic.
DO NOT use those spiral fixings to mount a 42" plasma, that would end in disaster.
Ive fitted a few of these up for friends & family.
To be secure cut away an area of plaster the size of your wall bracket and fix 3/4 ply to the block wall with big plugs & screws or hammer fixings and if necessary pack out with 2 by 1" timber or whatever thickness you need.
Hope that helps good luck.
