Cold Innit

Why is it when we have an inch of snow or it gets a bit cold this country tends to go into meltdown. People start recalling 'the records' eg: coldest december since 2007 or whatever. God no!!!!That was a whole two years ago. Reports on BBC news from a gritting station in Guildford with a man standing in front of a mound of grit explaining what happens when they grit roads. Hmmm I have always wondered. And of couse the obligatory shot of a car driving down a road covered in snow or ice, losing control and crashing at two miles an hour into a small bush.


For gods sake! It's winter is it not. It's supposed to be bloody cold!!

The UK population are obsessed with the bloody weather, last night's BBC news were talking about "The Big Freeze", well pardon me while I just laugh my tadger off, over here this morning we had -24°c and tons of snow, did anyone give it a special mention? Are the roads inpassable? Is it the wrong type of snow for the trains? Well funnily enough, no, it isn't

considering it was -11 this morning which is actualy properly cold, i'd say its definatly colder than normal.

We'd better actually have a summer this summer, because im not sure i can cope with 3 years of no heat/sun.

Couldn't agree with you more. In fact, I've decided to bugger off to The Gambia in a couple of weeks just to warm up.

It was 31 deg. Celcius there yesterday. I'm already fantasizing about stepping out onto the steps of the plane in Banjul and feeling the Sun's warmth on my face.

Mmm, this unseasonal weather needs a name....

I know, I think I will call it "Winter". There, the problem has been solved. Next time it is cold at this time of year, we can call it "Winter". That way we will know that it is the time for it being cold.

Sorry I meant 'we' as in the infrastructure / idiots, I'll be nice an cosey working from home or getting some winter tyres for my already 4WD daft car... then I'll be getting the ski gear out to keep warm

Can i tag along? i dont eat much and i'm happy to sleep rough, i just need some natural heat from the sun
