Blackberry Storm

Hi All

I got one, just want to see if anyone else has one and what they think to it

No, have a Pearl but read a few reviews on the Storm, they all said it was good but the software was buggy (unusual for BBs) and the touch screen very hard to write with accurately. Having said that the software can be updated and the screen won't bother you if you don't send many SMS or emails. And I think it lacks Wifi or 3G (or both), I can't remember. Which the Pearl doesn't either, but the iPhone does.

Had heard reports with buttons falling off the early ones etc.

They reckon they've sorted them and there's a software upgrade on them now too.

Quite fancy one myself!

It lacks wifi. Iphone has wifi and 3G.

And I found it a bd to type on - much harder than the iPhone or my current BlackBerry Bold.

I'd try to use one in anger before I comitted to one if I was you - the keyboard really is tricky.

the idea is great but i would wait until the next one.

Main prob i find is there is a delay when pressing the buttons which really frustrates.

Internet is also funny because when you touch the screen for a link it is hit and miss whether is just zooms in or actually goes to the link

battery life isnt that great either and camera is poor

i highly recommend you go for the blackberry bold

i hope they release a fix for it
