Would you rather have £200k next month, tax free, or wait un til 2021 when you would have a 50/50 chance of receiving 1 million tax free or nothing? You don't get the chance if you take the 200k now.

Which would you do?

Not into gambling and 12 years is a long time so I'd take the £200k. I'd buy my first house with it while the prices are low.

I'd have it now and try and invest it, probably buy shares in Woolworths or MFI.
