Last October things went completly tits up for the Icelandic economy. Some people speculate the the UK may follow suit.

Since the reports last October little has been said about what is now happening over there.

How do countries get out of bankrupcy?

What are the implications of a country going bankrupt?

They did the opposite to us, raised interest rates to 18% and asking for €4Billion help from other Scandinavian countries.

I thought Russia bought them up with a massive 'loan' (you know, sell your soul to the devil type arrangement).....

(fixed rate mortgage for 5 years and then it's paid off. and Money sitting in savings accounts getting sod all interest)
