According to your link (scare mongering aside) the "Volcano alert level is normal".
I remember seeing a documentary about the supervolvano at Yellowstone some years back. Apparently it will be an absolute f
ker when it goes off.
Don't forget though; (1)no one has ever seen one like this go off before so the proposed damage is purely speculative and (2) Yellowstone make most of their living from the fear and fascination of the tourists that visit the region so don't expect the local paper not to be biased...
