Any Money Making Idea's In This Economic Climate?

As its the credit crunch and most people in the UK seem to moaning like mad about cash, i thought i'd do my good deed for the day and allow everyone to give their two pence worth on how to benefit the way the economy is and make some coin!
Any ideas are more than welcome (especially from the serious players on here with mentally nice wheels and houses to match)
No more hunting down the side of the Sofa for spare change, then?

In all seriousness, Mystery Shopper. You and your OH can do it, and you get paid plus sometimes free stuff like Dinner and hotels etc
There is no shortage for it, and no fee to begin. Just type it in Google and find places 'hiring' near you. There are a lot, you just never knew they existed. You can do it on 'your' time and schedule.
not a way to become wealthy or even well off, but enough to ease some of the pain for relatively no 'work' at all

A lot of the mystery shopper companies I looked at were only paying £5 for each of the tasks you had to do and the paperwork you had to fill in afterwards was a nightmare!!There is no shortage for it, and no fee to begin. Just wasn't worth doing in my opinion.
In the last recession my cousin made an awful lot of money buying up repossessed plant equipment then exporting it.
Most of it went to Indonesia and the like.
Given that Sterling is now worth the square root of feck all, I rather suspect that a similar enterprise could be pretty profitable.

If you have a clean credit history,a few hundred will buy you a category A consumer credit licence.
Set up a "discreet" pawnbroking business from a small low rent office which has lots of footfall in the area so people aren't self conscious about visiting.
Small well worded adverts in your local/regional press and your county magazine.
You'd be amazed at the number of people now using pawnbrokers.
It also enables you to collect debts should you wish to enter that market.

Buy a truck you can load cars on to and to start your own repossession business.
