Recommendations for shipment company, alcohol to US

Need to send a friend in WA a couple of bottles of J&B but the usual couriers either wont take liquids or cant import alcohol

Anyone have any suggestions?

I cant just bung it in the post as it has to have a customs declaration

To be honest I don't know why you'd bother, you can buy J&B for $21 a bottle in our local supermarket in Detroit (Kroger - national chain).

Those 2 packs of Digestives were much easier to get sent!

Its not possible to do this without a License as far as I know. I used to send clients in the US wine, but it's not worth the costs now.

Cheaper to fly the client over for a beer!

It will cost you the plane ticket plus 3 days in a 5 star hotel.

Cant you find a US website that sells it and put in their address for delivery? May be one that offers gift wrap and so on.

i tried doing that when i wanted to send a friend of mine over there a crate of UK beer...

but every US company selling UK beer needed the sender to be in the US too.

Go for a liquor store in the state. The US is full of weird liquor laws.I would look up the biggest distributor in the immediate area and ask if they will deliver, or have it prepaid for him to pick up.
