Who else looks for stuff they dont need

instead of doing usefull jobs ,who else surfs the web on "fleabay etc " looking for stuff they dont need ,

my fav is R/C Boats ,Scalextrics...TVR bits.

nice warm room ,mug of coffee , no dont feel like hoooovering car out ....

i keep hovering around the fruit juices section in M&S - perhaps a subsconscious desire to give myself a thorough colonic workout. also waste my time on Autotrader, looking for sporty large-engined hatches within 60 miles, with leather trim.

I sometimes spend three hours scouring the web for cars to fit a budget. £400 for a tidy runner, but the car must have at least a few months t&t. Or sports/luxury cars for under £1000. My mate likes to set himself a car and see how cheap he can get one.

Not interested in the wheels but I am doing the same. So far I am on garage 2/3 and up about £500.

I currently have every available size of cable-tie and cable fixing. I'm also collecting screws, bolts and nails. This is to match my drill bit and rawl plug collection.

Try finding stainless steel replacement nuts and bolts for your pride and joy. That'll kills some time. Makes servicing/tinkering a lot easier to.

Yep, i'm currently buying up stock of vintage Soviet watches.

If the USSR ever reforms and takes over the world, i'll have a headstart in knowing what symbols represent each day.

I bought a supercharger too 4-5 months back, i cleaned and polished it, and carefully threw it into a pile of crap in the garage.

I knew it couldnt just be me,
I bought a complete new tuscan front end complete with bonnets,grille,spoiler,lights,both rads,fans and cowlings and headlamp inspection covers.
I think the front end comes from fibreon.
the grille def comes from tvr power
I sold my last tuscan s two years ago and did not intend buying anymore TVR`s,not because of the factory closure,just had a few and it was time to move on.

I can`t do pictures but theres is one on my profile of the said item.
I must have been pissed at the time,surely?
But if any one knows of a tuscan s with front end damage for sale......
