Whats your average weekly spend?
Discussion
Not including the weekend, just the working week and outside of bills / train fares / parking / petrol etc what do we all spend on luxuries and day to day things like lunches / magazines etc? In other words, how much "pocket money" do you survive on in a working week?
To kick off, I manage to keep it under £20 a week, thats with bringing a packed lunch four out of five days.

Interesting, and someone as sad as me!
I keep a tally in my filofax and have an excel sheet I tot it up on. Last year I averaged £238.62 a week. Now, that is a lot ore than you I'll grant you but I do include 'everything' except stuff that goes out via DD such as mortgage, utility bills, phone etc. Anything else I actally spend from buying a paper to paying for the car insurance goes in the book.
Very sad, as my wife will gadly pointout but I do find it does make me 'think' about the genuine need o otherwise for certain purchases.

I also have an excel sheet system! How sad are we - I record everything from the snickers I bought at lunchtime to all my direct debits, and have lots of little forumalas to work out totals and stuff.I keep a tally in my filofax and have an excel sheet I tot it up on. highly sad but it means that I can compare it with my bank statement at the end of the month and spot any errors the bank make (it has happened), and it means I keep my spending in check as well!
Have one of these:

Nice dedication from the excel guys! I used to keep tabs on my fuel with excel but that lasted all of two weeks!
. My employer provides free lunch however it means a drive through town which is a real pain. I spend around £7.50 a week on lunch from the supermarket (mostly 2 rolls and mackerel with varied sauces - tomato, curry etc) and £10 for fuel. I have a few tradesman friends who spend £5-8 a day on lunch!

Currently spending feck all on myself because nursery costs for two kids 3 days a week all of a sudden = approx £900 a month. But school beckons for Zep child #1 soon which will ease things.
Barely drink during the week because of running/dieting. Occasional takeaway I suppose. And Lovefilm of course.
I see Super Unleaded for the Aero as my main 'treat' TBH.
But in more comfortable times I've been fairly frivolous.
