I wouldnt really say that I've met one of my hero's, but I've met vic reeves going round nottcuts in maidstone.


and I've always wanted a harley, finally got to sit on one at the NEC bike show, realised that I dont like the way you sit on them, there too low, too wide, bars too high, to heavy, not enough ground clearance.
kinda ruined it for me for them :/

Don't forget he's the first person (correct me if I'm wrong) since Donald Campbell to hold 2 world speed records. Overall WLS record with Thrust SSC and the WLS record for Diesels with the JCB Dieselmax.

Met many famous people, from the Queen down to the lowest ranks of James Blunt. Only one of them i would call a hero though, Sir Sterling Moss. A real gent too, made my year shaking his hand, took a long while for the smile to leave my face

I'm not sure whether this will count but I met "Lightning" from Gladiators when I was still a huge fan of the show many many moons ago, by god she was bloody gorgeous in person.
