How do they propose blocking a compulsary purchace order?
I say let them keep the land, and build the runway around it, and watch what happens when a 747 lands on top of them

Has nobody told them that the land isn't lovely countryside it is some fields just outside a huge city and one of the busiest airports in the world. I could understand if someone was trying to demolish the lake district for this but do people have sod all better to do?

And that is the absurd thing. They're just as bad as those who got on stage at Live Earth and said "We flew in today to tell you all to only put as much water as you are going to use in your kettle so we can stop climate change". I am sure all the residents ( you know.....People ) who live close to Heathrow Airport will take comfort from the fact that a load of people 
not living anywhere near here ( New Zealand and Ireland included !! ) think it quite OK that their lives are going to be totally disrupted as a result of further development , and before you all come screaming back and say ' but there has always been an airprt there , you should not have moved there in the first place ' just remember that each time there has been some expansion all the people involved , Government , BAA etc all say that this is the last development for this site !!

This one is merely looking at the ridiculous actions of some protestors.
