What cordless digital phone set?

My Panasonic handsets have decided not to work after only a couple of years. I cannot make or receive calls on either of the handsets, even though they ring when there is an incoming call - i deduce the base unit has packed in.

So i need to get some more. I just need a twin set, and do not really want to pay more than £50. Any recommendations as to which are the best and most reliable makes/models out there?

Siemens. We've had them for five years. They are problem-free, unlike the stty Philips ones we had before.
