The future Mrs Monkey has already started yakking about valentines day and want's to go for a nice meal or something. Any idea's what to do or somewhere nice in Worcestershire? I was thinking a few beers, a takeaway and a night of sex but 'apparently' this isn't romantic, so i'm st out of luck.

Agreed, she is going to get expensive. Get rid of her and spend the money saved on yourself.

Just go with the famous interpretation model:

nice meal - interpretation = curry
or something - interpretation = beer and BJ
Somewhere nice in Worcestershire - interpretation = David Gerald TVR in Inkberrow for a nose around

Follow the above and you'll have a smashing day

Good luck

How come wimmin don't have to fork out on all this crap. All I asked for xmas from her was a set of Cherrybomb exhausts, what do I get? Head Gaskets! fking head gaskets. Bless her biggrin

Ideal opportunity to test what life will really be like as Mr & Mrs IMHO

Express regret at liklihood that you will be required to: work late / be away overnight on a training course (that did genuinely happen to me once) / play football / attend sporting event / attend drinking event etc etc.

Stand back and gauge reaction. Further to said reaction you may wish to take the first repondents advice and dump her as being much too "needy!"

Valentines day - bloody hate it - complete bking waste of cash.

Hey! David Geralds ain't a bad idea and there's a nice pub other the road. I can see it now 'Look her missus at this prime example of a TVR Griffith 500, note how the exhaust manifolds go forward before coming back, creating more room at the sides'.

Tell her you've booked a romantic restaurant somewhere, but it's a secret.

On the night, get her all ready for the meal of her life, get in the car and drive to the most remote area within 40 mins drive. For the final 10 mins, make her put a blindfold on - tell her it's because you want it to be the ultimate surprise. Pull up somwhere dark, walk around and help her out of the car.

Walk back, get in and drive away and stop off for a curry on the way home.

Too true, too true.

Luckily, the present GF is of the same opinion.
