Surely the governments of those countries wouldn't manipulate the statistics would they. After all, our government never does.As they've banned fox hunting, can we introduce Labour Knobend hunting instead?

I am living proof as picked up by a number of the PH members on my spelling and grammer!
I can second that, however I am not a jenuwine case of it, Think I am just lay-z, I do know people who do suffer and it has a real knock on effect to their everyday life sometimes expecially when we where at school. My grandmother (dads side), a retired teacher, was of the opinion that dyslexia was a label invented by the middle class to excuse their thick kids.
However, my mum and brother have both been diagnosed as dyslexic so I know first hand how frustrating it is.
The one thing that cheesed me off was that my brother got a free laptop from the council while he was at university.

The problem is when people just lump any reading/writing problem as 'dyslexia'. The term is also now used but any spazz that can't read or write properly as a get out clause.
