Streaming iTunes Media From Max to PS3

So, is this possible to do for free?

Basically I want to stream directly from itunes to the PS3, so I can control it with the remote iphone app... any ideas? I've had a look at the twonky and medialink solutions, but its not clear if they will work with the remote app, anyone tried this?
