We seem to have more than our fair share of nutters around these parts, and it seems their numbers are growing. Only this week, on trips to the local supermarché, I have encountered the following "colourful" types:

Piss-stained wonky-stick man - who walks up and down the main road, with a wet patch from crotch to knee, with a white stick (which is wonky), constantly uttering the line "goranysparechangemate?"

Weird short black guy - who is the spitting image of TAFKAP, only without all the purple stuff. He sings, he shouts, he dances, he enters the Co-Op, does a quick lap, then buggers off again.

Weird bloke with his Mum and a cat - A weird, paedo-looking fella, who is always with (who I presume is) his Mum. And always carrying his cat. A regular patron of local bus-stops.

Strange shuffling man - he's strange and he shuffles.

Anyone else got any local weirdos?

We have one. He goes on car forums and tells them he likes to secretly video him and his girlfriends, then invariably gets caught.

Now, you see, there was no need for that was there?

I keep seeing this bloke cruising round the local coop. Looks like a pervert to me.

I saw a pissed midget in Fareham high street a few months ago, he was drinking from a bottle of whiskey and yelling abuse at him. When the coppers turned up he tried to glass one of them and started kicking them in the shins, it practically bought the high street to a standstill. I kind of felt bad for laughing, but it was the funniest thing I've seen for ages.

His language could have made a tankie blush though...

Coventry used to have "Cool Dude" a bloke who always wore black bomber jacket, black trousers, black ski gloves (not even leather gloves, SKI gloves), slicked hair and mirrored aviators.

Summer/winter/no matter what, Cool Dude was always, ahem, cool...He was Coventrys answer to Joey Boswell...and much like Coventrys answer to anything he was a pillock.

I always saw him near Canal Basin (the wrought iron sign to which had been doctored to " ANAL SIN")

We used to have "Jesus Pete" weird hippy type bloke who wouldn't wear shoes because they were made of animals. Not seen him for a few years.

"Nutty Graham" wanders around town looking grubby, usually in the pub shouting rude words at people.

That's good. Do you write your own material?

Bread man: Often seen walking up Mill road in Cambridge with a loaf of bread tied to his head. Sometimes just sliced white, once it was a pair of french sticks. On one special occasion he was seen with a decoy duck tied to his head instead.

I can't vouch for the pervert claim but I do see a resemblance to Ming The Merciless.

In our local town:

A guy who walks into people house and just "makes himself at home", nothing sinister or particularly criminal just unnerving for the people who come downstairs to find hime watching there TV/asleep on the sofa etc.

An wierd old women who paints her face white and pretends she's ill, walks really really slow and deliberatly crosses the road even slower to annoy people.

A middle aged guy who dresses in "high-vis" overalls and sits on a graas embankment all day making up stories and telling them to anyone who passes.

A "slow" guy who is very childlike and likes to go to childrens parties (when he sees baloons on the gates etc) and follows the hunt around on his bicycle making horse noises - he is completely harmless though and everyone is nice to him.

And this is all in a very small village

Ooh - we used to have at a club in Fareham (Prague Junction if anyone knows it) Leather Man, this guy who was at least in his 50s who would be there from opening till closing practically every night, in leather trousers and a leather waistcoat grinding all the younglings.

Now they've closed Prague, I'm reliably informed he's relocated to Chicago Rock however as I have no intention of entering said establishment I have no confirmation at the moment.
