What is the cheapest way to die?
Discussion
I say die. I mean all the stuff afterwards, burial ETC.
Having a family discussion earlier and one member of the family is a hardened atheist, and believes having a religious burial/cremation is hypocritical. He also believes spending money on someone dead is a waste.
I’m trying not get too much into the showing due respect to the recently passed away discussion.
After you die, if you wanted to just be put in a hole on your own land, with no ceremony, spending no money, is this possible?
If not, what is the nearest you can get to it?

Donate yourself to a medical research place or a hospital. They may well be glad of the body for research or training or even organ transplant. I presume they will take care of the final disposal. Shouldn't cost you or your estate or family anything. I presume they offer a collection service, but not sure how that bit works.

Do not die outside the administrative area in which you'd rather be buried or cremated in.
e.g. Bromley Council charges just shy of 12k for burial of persons living outside of the borough. Half of that is for the plot, the rest for the burial itself. This is outside of any charges made by the funeral directors etc.

Full stopFrom Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A full stop or period (sometimes stop, full point, or dot), is the punctuation mark commonly placed at the end of several different types of sentences in English and many other languages.
A full stop consists of a small dot placed at the end of a line of text, such as at the end of this sentence.
