I Started recording a film to watch another day, but really want to watch it now, it's recorded about an hour - can i watch it whilst it's recording?

Not had ours long so not tried but surely if you go into the planner and highlight it there will either be a play option or there won't?

It's called timeslip. Start viewing a one-hour programme on a commercial channel about 10-15 minutes after it has started and you'll be able to whizz through the ad breaks and finish about the same time as the actual programme does. Advertisers hate it!

Different matter with Beeb channels though

And you can also record another channel at the same time...but you must be watching (or have on) one of the channels that you are recording. Just in case you didn't know!
