Apres shower body dryer

We're ripping one of the family bathrooms apart to convert to a wet room and are considering having an Apres Shower Body Dryer fitted.
I can find loads of info about them on the net but as yet no useful reviews.
The two reviews I've found up to now say "excellent idea" and "great idea" Really comprehensive in depth stuff.
Anybody ever used one?

I believe it's the same concept as a hand dryer, just blows st loads of hot air at you..... like my missus

It's like a walk-in version of the Dyson Airblade hand-dryer

Personally I find my apres shower body dryer (also known as a towel) works fine.

The pics look like a series of hot air blowers set vertically in a corner. You just sort of stand there in the warm air stream and..............dry

Triton make something similar, screwfix sell it and there are some reviews on their web site

Have you used one? Any good?

It's for a person who has some physical disabilities and can't really use a towel without help.

That's the overhead type. The one I'm thinking of having installed is this one

Personally I've only professional ones at the Gym/Spa I can certainly see the benifits of having one at home if you're physically challenged, But like you've said, there are few reviews on the internet for them, so I wonder whether a home one will be any good.

I have one of those and I love it!

However I call it a towel.

Used something similar at the Sheraton spa in Edinburgh - wasn't impressed. Didn't dry you 'properly' like a good rub with a towel!

Had the architect and contractors out today and it's back to the body dryer
Apparently there's a commercial one available and if we follow the correct procedures we won't be eligible for any VAT on the works
It's probably just as well as it looks like we're going to be forking out £2.5k to buy the Palma Vita toilet alone
