Foreign object in nose?

For the past week i've had a really badly blocked nostril, whenever I have 'investigated' it's always bled and had random nose bleeds.

Today had a go, after a bit of blood, discovered a bit of thin piece of plastic.
Since then it has been fine

What the hell could this be?

When one of my kids was about three some years ago she got a polly pocket stuck up her nose - we couldn't get the damn thing out! So, up to casualty it was. She was a little upset so I said we're got a place where they take things out of peoples' noses without hurting them. When we got there it was heaving with people - it was a Friday night and just about every misfit seemed to be there. They had a quick look at her and we were then given a seat and told to wait until they called. About half an hour later some poor sod hopped in who had dropped something VERY heavy onto his foot. He hopped over to the seat next to my daughter, wincing with each movement, and sat on the chair next to hers. My daughter then got off her chair, walked in front of him, looked curiously up to his face and said "what you got up your nose then?" The place erupted with laughter - you couldn't make it up!

I'd contact the Daily Wail, let them know foreigners are sneaking up your nose and claiming council benefits. Probably
