Tory Green Economy
So does this mean whoever gets voted in now, we will all be screwed on a made up tax?
I think their best idea is going to be the plug sockets through out the country.
Will they also be building hotels next to these plug points, as they could make a small fortune from that!!
Do they mean that by not depending on imports of carbon based fuels they will be re opening the mines? As this surely is the best method.
He clearly doeesn't know that there is no "spare" energy from solar panels and domestic wind turbines. Also the equipment needed to feed back to the Nation Grid is hugely expensive so not really worth it for sending 1kW back to the grid.

Green means tax and more tax.
The World economy is going to rat terd and they talk about 'carbon capture'. If I hear one more person mention sodding 'carbon footprint' I'll stick my footprint up their backside.
I was prepared to vote Conservative to get rid of the imbecile known as Brown. But it'd be like cutting your nose off to spite your face. I just see announcements like this as a different way of saying 'if you drive anything over 1000cc, we're going to squeeze you until you burst'.

I really have no idea who to vote for next election. To quote South Park "it's a choice between a touchbag and a turd sandwich".
Yes, but they also said that it's always a choice between a douchebag and a turd sandwich. It seems to be politicians promising people things that hardly anyone wants but everyone has been told by the media that they must demand. And it will probably work, because while nobody answers "yes" to "do you want to be taxed more for your car", if you ask "should other people be taxed more for their cars"...

I had a nod and a wink from a Conservative activist.
All is not as it seems...

So politicians should ignore advice they receive from scientific advisors?
Would that be the scientists who get millions in grants to 'confirm' Climate change (can't call it 'Global Warming' anymore..because they've realised that the earth's not actually warming..and everybody's realised they were being shat on from a great height)or
the scientists who say climate change is utter bunkum and is used by Politicians to scaremonger and raise taxes.
The next election is a simple matter of deciding whose going to screw you the hardest.
