Very boring washing machine question

On the off chance someone might have an easy fix, a quick question.

My washing machine/tumble drier isn't spinning fast enough on the spin cycle and the clothes are coming out sodden wet. Any easy way to get it back in wack?

open up the back and make sure there is no slack on the belt and its not completely worn out.

Cheers, the only problem is I can't get to the back as it's built into the kitchen units, helpfully. It's done this before, but sort of fixed itself.

Are you sure that the water is being completely emptied before the spin cycle? Could be a partial blockage in the waste-pipe, thus slow spin/wet washing.

You might find a filter at the front that you're supposed to clean periodically. We have one, but didn't do it, and the end result was as you describe.
