Anyone else been following this? Discovery Channel have been showing it. Basically it's a 30-minute show on a tall structure, the premise being that he finds out lots about it by climbing it. He's done the Forth Bridge, Trellick Tower, the Lovell telescope, Lloyds of London building and Liverpool Cathedral. And also Salisbury Cathedral which was frankly terrifying. I simply cannot conceive how anyone can climb up that spire, let alone how it was built.

Over the last couple of weeks, although I expect it will be on again. There are some repeats (of Trellick and Liverpool) on 24th Jan, suspect there will be more in Feb. Good programme, except for his continual references to his "vertigo".

I presume he was tied on to something. So long as I can see why I can't fall i'm usually happy. You wouldn't catch me climbing it without a rope of some description though.

Hopefully this will be syndicated to CH4/5 in time.
