What's your favourite film

Ok! What is your single most favourite film of all time?

I've got myself a Bluray player and am going back through my DVD collection. I watched Schindler's List this afternoon and marveled at how good it is and can't believe it was released in 1993; doesn't seem that long ago!

I wouldn't say it's my #1 but certainly up there as is the World's Fastest Indian.

So if you could only take one film to your desert island, what would it be?

Not 'The Sea Wolves', it's on at the moment on C5. Is this supposed to be a WWII film? Fifties & sixties cars everywhere, everyone in the film is wearing seventies fashions and haircuts, big shirt collars, kipper ties and Farah flares etc, what's going on?

I still love "Aliens" for the combination of sci-fi, horror, war flick and thriller that it is. I can see new details in it every time I watch it.

No 2 would be "Blade Runner". Stunning. The cinematography is simply breathtaking.

Note how both these movies predate CGI.
