Actually, it would make a lot more sense if it was intentional. And be quite funny aswell. Sadly im at the mercy of the bad man-flu and my sense of humour is lacking somewhat at the moment.

I always find the Dave repeat with the Aston Martin race in rather funny with regard to censorship.

Clarkson says something like "...then it's off like a scalded cock" which is clearly referring to a cockrel- phrase used for years as far as I'm aware (unless there's some strange scalding fetish I'm unaware of).

Later in the same show, James May upon finding out that Clarkson has won the race says "Oh cock" which remains uncensored.
